STEM CLASSES

LEGO BUILDERS STEM CLASS:  Students can design and engineer their own Lego creations to develop STEM skills.  Students will be given a task to complete by brainstorming, designing and then implementing their plans to make their ideas a reality.  Once completed we will test to see if their creation was successful.  Each kiddo will share what they created and tell the class something about how or why they made it the way they did.  Each project will be followed by free build time where students will have an opportunity to use their imagination to create something while engaging in conversation with peers.

EXPERIMENT EXPERIENCE STEM CLASS: Students will complete experiments together to learn science concepts through hands-on experiments.  As we complete each experiment we will be using the Science Process Skills to study what is happening and why.  We will be observing, classifying, communicating, measuring, inferring and predicting as we work through each step.
